Let's Talk About Dupes

I was definitely almost swindled when I went into Sephora the other day looking for fun new eyeliners. I was stuck between buying Makeup Forever's Turquoise 7L or Urban Decay's Electric. These turquoise blue liners were both $18 and looked exactly the same. I was so conflicted. Then a helpful gay man came over and told me that these blues looked EXACTLY the same was because they were manufactured at the same place!! *gasp* So one isn't better than the other, it's basically what brand YOU think is better. I still was not going to pay $18 for eyeliner, I just can't. Soooo the helpful gay man took me to the Sephora Collection, which has the same colors that Urban & Makeup Forever has except at a very very very low price!! I was able to get the same turquoise for only $8. The Sephora Collection eyeliner goes on just as smoothly as the other two and is just as pigmented. I am in love with Sephora brand eye makeup.

Sooooo, I was at Ulta the other day and saw that they had these "eye makeup remover wands" (or something like that). What a rip off!! You can easily do the same thing and save lots and lots of money on eye makeup remover. By using Witch hazel and little Vaseline. It just oh so simple. Start by buying a pack of Q-tips and a bottle of witch hazel (or the witch hazel pads). From there just dip the Q-tip in the witch hazel (squeeze out excess witch hazel, you don't want it too wet) and use the coated Q-tip to take off your mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow!! Its a tip I got from my Mom. The Vaseline helps too, you can put that on your eye and remove the eye makeup with a paper towel or toilet tissue. I promise it works!!.
